The fifth edition of the "Full Tilt Online Poker Series" (aka FTOPS V) came to a big conclusion over the weekend with two $1 million+ tournaments. On Saturday, August 18th, 648 players put up $2,620 each to play in Full Tilt's first two-day FTOPS event. The overall prize pool of $1,620,000 was distributed to the top 63 finishers, with "Grndhg25" finishing on top for a big $396,900 payday (we'd bet that Sunday is a day that this groundhog wouldn't mind reliving). Full Tilt obviously never expected to get so many players, they only put the guarantee at $600,000. But that was only Event #12, the "Main Event" of FTOPS V was...
...Sunday's Event #14, with a $1 million guarantee and a $322 buy-in. That one 4,578 participants vying for a prize fund of $2,289,000. After a little more than 12 hours of play the victory - and $395,905.44 - went to "CrazyZachary".

Additional kudos go out to "gregior", the big winner in the "$1K Monday" tournament on August 20th. gregior greatly improved his overall results at FT by finishing atop a field of 316 for a $79,000 first prize.
