Tournaments, tournaments, tournaments. If you're like us and you play poker, then you probably enjoy tournaments. They're a great opportunity to practice your skills against a wide variety of opponents and a way of turning the proverbial "toothpick" into a "lumberyard" (pay a small (or maybe not so small) entry fee and walk away with up to 1000 times as much). Every day PokerStars offers multi-table tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $1 to $150.

PokerStars Review-Body-2

PokerStars is one of the biggest online poker rooms and they have tournaments running 24 hours a day. Whether your game is Hold 'Em, Omaha, or Stud, they have a tournament within your budget starting several times a day. The popularity of the site insures that there are always 100s of cash games running, too.

The PokerStars software is probably our favorite. No fooling around, no excess clutter, and FAST. They don't have any problem handling tournaments with 1000s of players. Yet they still give you one of our favorite ways of customizing - you can upload a favorite photo that will appear in your spot at any table. Lot more interesting that getting stuck with whatever cartoon-ish character happens to be at whatever seat you're in. The PokerStars lobby is also one of the best. All the games and tournaments are well organized with easy access to all of the information you need to make your choices.

PokerStars Review-Body

You may have heard about the success of PokerStars players in the 2003 and 2004 World Series of Poker. Chris Moneymaker and Greg Raymer walked away with millions after winning seats in the "Big One" in PokerStars online satellite tournaments and then going on to win the whole thing. You can be sure that PokerStars will be sending hundreds of players back to the tournament in 2006.
