Paradise Poker Review

Home of the $1 million freeroll you've seen advertised on TV - and a lot more great poker-playing opportunities

Paradise Poker Review-Body-2

Paradise Poker has been around for quite awhile and remains a respected and popular place to play poker. In recent months they've generated a lot of publicity with their $1 million freeroll tournaments (advertised frequently on U.S. television). Can't be a complete freeroll like that so we encourage everybody to go and take their shot in one of the qualifier held several times every day.

Whether you specialize in cash games or tournaments you'll find plenty of competition at Paradise Poker. Tournament buy-ins range from the $1 "Big Buck" events held daily to the $200 tournaments held every Sunday afternoon with a $150,000 guarantee. Not as big as some of those other sites with the $1 million guarantee, but still very popular and worth playing in if your bankroll allows. You'll also find satellite tournaments available to get you into the bigger events for a mere pittance.

Paradise Poker Review-Body

You'll find the widest variety of cash games available at Paradise Poker. Not only is there a big range of stakes levels ($0.02/$0.04 limit hold 'em anyone?), but you'll find such rare games as 5-card draw, 5-card stud, Pineapple and Pineapple Hi/Lo. Plus plenty of 7-card stud, Omaha, and, of course, limit and no-limit hold-em

If you want to play in a multi-table tournament, but you're looking for something more than a sit-and-go then the "Quickie" tournaments at Paradise might be for you. $5 to $20 tournaments limited to 10 to 100 players start around the clock.

For serious tournament players ParadisePoker has started the "Power Rankings" system that culminates in a $1 million payout to the winner of a tourney held every two months. Accumulate Power Ranking Points by participating in many of the daily tournaments and move up the monthly leaderboard! Seats at the final table are distributed in several different ways, but all you have to do is finish in the top 1500 of either the Power Points or Players Club (for cash game play) rankings and you qualify for a playoff. Win your playoff and you've got a seat at the final table and a shot at the $1 million first prize!
